sadly, it was the last day of attachment today ):
this week spent at the clinic was quite fun!
even though the first few days were quite boring at times cause there was nothing much to do, it got better later on when we became more familiar with things and knew what to do without the vet techs telling us/giving us stuff to do.
we got to watch cool surgeries too! and Dr Wong very kindly let us sit in during consults.
today was the best day by far!
we got to watch a caesarean!
(most of the time the surgeries were sterilisations, except on the first day where we got to watch the vets remove lumps from a dog suspected of having cancer.)
anyway, the mummy dog (i think it was a maltese) got brought in and she was really huge!
i think one of the puppies got stuck during delivery.
but the vet managed to deliever all 3 puppies safely in the end and they were really cute!
their eyes were closed but they alr had a layer of fur and they were making really loud squeaing noises. ha.
Zelda the Doberman went home today too, but we missed it cause we went for lunch so we didn't get to say bye ):
which was quite sad, cause Zelda was brought in the first day we were there and later on when she was healthy enough we were responsible for bringing her for her daily walk in the mornings.
so i'm really glad i went for this attachment!
it really opened my eyes to the world of a veterinary surgeon.
which is really quite tiring and challenging, but my experience there hasn't really discouraged or encouraged me particularly.
i guess it still remains one of my options. (:<
anyway, on to another topic.
we had a 'class' dinner on tuesday!
'class' because only 8 or 9 of us turned up. ha.
it was quite fun though!
we went to the sakae at the heeren for dinner, then went up to the neoprint shop to camwhore with philbert's cam in the booths!
haha it was really random!
cause fitting 8 people in a booth (especially those with the steps/sofas at the back) was really quite hard and philbert kept putting his camera on timer so we weren't ready for half the shots.
but it's okay, spontaneity's what makes it fun!

and i received my really belated present from the class!

thanks alot to those who went to the build-a-bear workshop to have her made and suffered undue embarassment because of the shop attendant's 'instructions'!
haha i'll post a picture of her up soon cause she's really special and definitely one of a kind :D
